Sir Mark Moody Stuart, KCMG is presently Vice Chairman of the UN Global Compact and chairman of the Global Compact Foundation and the Innovative Vector Control Consortium.
He is currently a director of Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest O&G firm, and is a member of the advisory boards of the Association of Malaysian Economics Undergraduates (AMEU) and IdeaCarbon. He has served as the chairman of the Royal Dutch Shell Group, Anglo American plc and Hermes Equity Ownership Services (the investment arm of the BT Pension Scheme- the UK’s largest pension fund). He is also a former director of HSBC Holdings plc and Accenture Group.
Sir Mark will be sharing his insight and experiences and the discussion will touch on various topics, such as the impact of natural resource development on economies, whether it’s a resource curse or a resource endowment. Apart from that, Sir Mark will also be sharing his insights on the future of oil and gas industry; corporate governance; the role of corporations in influencing social policy, as well as much more.
